Governor lifts drought emergency.  Governor Brown today lifted the statewide drought emergency.  Due to an extraordinarily wet winter, reservoirs across the state are full and the snowpack measures 164% of normal.  The Mountain View City Council is scheduled to discuss the local drought status at their regularly scheduled May 16 meeting.
